Default Number plate bargain (£10,000 profit)

This sure seems like an easy way to make £10,000. Simply buy it off this guy for £25,000, and sell it on to the arab for £35,000? Easy

in my view this is a scam.

He's simply selling the plastic number plate.

I emailed the obvious question about ownership of the mark.

(in answer to my email question to the seller)

Would you pay 25k for plastic plates??

Seriously the retention certificate lock stock!
Maybe he does own the rights to the plate ?

Im unsure about this one, he must have massive balls if he doesn't own the rights to them with his starting price.

But fuck me, what an Idea!

/me goes to make some plates up

    I paid £2,500 for HA55AN Y.

Wonder how much an Arab would pay for that!

I bidded my ideal plate to just over 8k on a dvla online auction before bottling it, it brought 12k.

I do wish I had gone higher and bought it now tbh.

I did buy a similar plate from a number plate company and after them taking my money I got a mail a couple of weeks later saying there was a mistake and I hadn't bought it after all and they refunded me.

I'm sure they got offered more for it and cancelled my sale tbh but there was feck all I could do about it.
