hi my daughter has a sony z600 ,a symbol of a head set is on any one know how to take this off as it keeps coming on and there is no sound when answering thx

Sounds like it may be in headset mode m8. Thats why there is no audio when using it without the headset. Try using the hs and see if it works ok.

If it does then just try gently wiggling the jack plug,,, but be very gentle with it,,, also just try unplugging and plugging back in. This MAY help, if not then there could be a hardware problem.
