ARGH Help Nokia N70

[TIN CAN]

Been trying all day and night to get the nokia pc suite to see my phone (N70) finally it does but now it won't actually let me do anything, like installing 'sis' its bug ridden.....


Is there an alternative to this as i am desperate to install some games, apps etc .....

Not yet m8 as i have to get a bluetooth adapter as mine is missing in action so just using the cable at present

right bluetooth finds the phone etc outside of the pc suite and then i do the search etc within pc suite and it at first finds the phone i issue a key code for it and then its tells me its set up. I then look at the software but it will not connect still

Well fook knows so i gave up and thought ill just try it one last time but fook the pc ill give the laptop a go .................... what do you know installed first time and connected first time lmfao same winxp sp2 no difference in installtion but works so far on all options....

So its laptop to do what i want with the phone but hey i have wifi network at home so its just as easy... just wish i tried it yesterday afternoon instead of pissing with the pc all this time..

Speaking to some colleagues today, Orange have withdrawn the N70 and are now not gonna release this properly until maybe April next year due to all the bugs, I feel sorry for folks who have bought these rotten eggs and will have to wait until new firmware is released by Nokia to fix this in Q1 next year.

PS The 6680 is still full of bugs too, ie it will not work in a POP car kit !!

Funny that Orange have just today listed the N70 on the website !! Typical of Orange never know what they are doing

Not sure its full of bugs maybe one or two....at least so far so good..... Other than the pc suite its a pucker phone.......

Mind you lets see how it stands up to the elements over the next year lol....

The phone is really slow though!! When i tried looking through the gallery it was really slow!! And i mean like a minute if you have a lot of photos and videos!

I read something on an N-Gage forum that if your series 60 phone slow down significantly you should delete your call log and set it to keep the log records for 1 - 3 days.

Apparently it is badly programmed on the N-Gage so that all the data is loaded on to RAM and this really chews upo the performance.

I'm ordering my one from T-Mobile this afternoon after seeing my mates, looks class....

Has anyone tried any N-Gage games on this yet?

Picked my N70 up yesterday for a tenner from T-mobile.

I think its the prettiest, best phone I have ever had. Music quality excellent and much louder than the 6230.

Annoyingly Nokia have changed the charger connector to a smaller pin which makes it incompatable with other Nokia charger though they do supply an extra adapter. Will porbably lose it by next week

Would advise anyone to get this phone.
