Doom

PLOT SUMMARY:

Something has gone wrong at a remote scientific research station on Mars. All research has ceased. Communication has failed. And the messages that do get through are less than comforting. It's a level 5 quarantine and the only souls allowed in or out are the Rapid Response Tactical Squad - hardened Space Marines armed to the teeth with enough firepower to neutralize the enemy... or so they think.



liked the game myself, this film is ok, nothing special wont be watching it again lol the fps mode was ok too nothing special, a fair bit of gore for a 15


overall the film is good if your into doom but not much difference from res evil

the rocks acting is ok nothing over the top reuqired of him, you need a bit of acting skill in the wrestling biz so its enough to pull it off for this kind of flick

Hahaha yea I watched this film this morning and it's more a comedy then anything, loads of one liners and I (and the crowd in the theatre.... ((Shitty TC)) ) was laughing along with it.

The fps scene was quite nice and the rock was pretty good in it, as well as Dexter(maybe his name) presented the second series of Gamesmaster.

Over all a good fun film, joke thingy.

A good, enjoyable flick I thought and the first person scene was well done and didn't distract from the movie at all. The only thing that I didn't like was all the references to the staff, etc, of ID software.

a tc is a direct audio/video print, if you heared the audience you were watching a cam m8, ts and tc have direct audio

I have been poorly over the weekend so I watched Doom (The TC) it was better than I thought it would be. The missus would probably hate it though.

And the FPS part was a bit silly - will only appeal to gamers as it's too long. If it was shorter it could be explained but as long as it is its just gratuitous.

After that point the movie rapidly descends into a humiliating "we spent all our budget on the BFG squence and have nothing left" fist fight.

Overall : 7/10
(I'm giving it 7 because they did put a bit of effort in on the story/background)

Watched this yesterday and thought it was good. The Rock played his part ok but overall the acting was a bit pants. Still worth a watch 6/10.
