Gta-upgrade Downgrade Working!

today i received the GTA shipment,
first thing i did was test the situation.


it works!

i used a 1.50 machine,

i upgraded WITH THE GTA DISC to 2.00

then i downgraded back to 1.50

and all works fine!!

What you on about you mean you got the origonal gta upgraded the firmware to 2.00 then back down to 1.5?

sorry, ill explain.

most people thought that if you upgrade directly from the disc (as it asks you to) that its a FAKE 2.00.
IE: Sony made the upgrade to fool you into thinking its a 2.00 when in fact its 2.01 or simular.

this is NOT true.

so to test, i upgraded via the disc.
then downgraded after.

might get GTA (and SOCOM) when I'm in China next week. I was a bit concerned that I wouldn't be able to downgrade after upgrading. Cheers!

Sorry if covered elsewhere but couldnt find the direct answer, im off to buy the original GTA:LCS UMD now, so after updating what tool do I use to downgrade back to 1.5? is there a link at all? Cheers

ours games are US versions.
not sure about UK. although should be same.
