Quite like the idea of swapping books

i try and get through a book or two a week, but i tend to stick with authors/genres i'm familiar with (discworld, ian m banks, crichton etc) so it could help to broaden my horizons

the swapping idea could work as long as there are some rules regarding damages/losses that everyone agrees to - i don't mind lending people things but i get annoyed if they aren't looked after !

I'd thought about that. To be honest I would be happy to give away the books I've read, I wouldn't want them back. That said, they would only be paperbacks as I like to keep my hardbacks for good.

I like to re-read my books, so i'd prefer to have them back (i'm currently on my 5th reading of The Lost World!)

Just gone through a couple of books recently as I now take the tube to wok everyday it gives me something to do for the journeys.

What about a mini forum for discussing/exchanging books between members?

I know most of us are geeks and reading books doesnt make you money on the side lol, but I think some of us would find it useful.
