JUST HEARD THERE WAS A SERVICE UPDATE.

Lots of peeps in all areas on all providers now saying nothing is AU'ing. It's probably a change to the way the keys roll. Somone with a logger should be able to tell us whats changed.

Wonder if this has anything to do with the AU FUN going public.

One if the ROM images on Sportster DBoxes still works, other DBox images not so lucky.

Network optimisation will result in a loss of service in the Leicester, Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Systems maintenance to our the ntlworld.com homepage and the Broadband Plus Platform will result in a loss of service for the duration.
Network rebalancing across the country will result in a brief loss of service for all customers.

On the morning of Wednesday the 16th of November between midnight and 6 AM,
Network optimisation will result in a loss of service in the Cambridge, Leicester, Cosham, York, Belfast, Ware, Eastwood, Camberley, Hartlepool, Marske, Bishop Stortford and surrounding areas.

On the morning of Thursday the 17th of November between midnight and 6 AM,
Network optimisation will result in a loss of service in the Cambridge, Leicester, Marske, Hersham, Belfast, Fleet, Melton, Ware, Middlesborough, S****horpe, Greenook, Bishop Stortford and surrounding areas.

On the morning of Friday the 18th of November between midnight and 6 AM,

We thank you for your understanding and apologise for any inconvenience these planned works may cause."

Might have something to do with this...

CARDIFFS GONE DOWN, i have 4 in our family all went down this morning, strange really as you can get the bouquet menu but when you clic on it it shows you whats on but no picture, so this makes me think if it can tell you whats on we must be getting some sort of signal.????

What image are you running. As far as I am aware its only older images that have been affected.

stick the latest sportster on it and it will work fine..

The reason you are seing the EPG etc.. but no pic is the Autoupdate code has changed and your box hasn't got the latest encryption key.. hence the EPG which isnt encrypted shows up fine but the encrypted programes will be black screen.. except fta of course which are not encypted either.
