Cure for your cough!

ok with all the lurgies going around at the moment i thought i would share a home remedy with you guys that has never failed to stop a cough!
now it is a home remedy and obviously wont hurt or harm you in any way.
This also means it looks gross and the taste aint too appealing either however if you're like me and u like your sleep then its the way to go!

just put a little bit of milk or water (about 3 dessert spoons) in a glass, add 1 teaspoon of turmeric (a yellow powder normally used to colour curries etc- you can get it from supermarket about 50p) stir it all up put it in the microwave for 15-20 seconds just so its warm and then down the lot in one gulp.

it works so well i never ever use cough medicine and i make the whole family take it too lol!

(i reckon i could do corny american commercials! teeheehee

)

if there is someone who isnt too much of a pansy to try it :whistle

EDIT: Please make sure its warm not hot otherwise you'll end up burning your tongue - which may take the focus off your cough but will stil be a bloody pain!

or honey and lemon does the job.

if u cant afford lemsip or cant be arsed to buy it just ,mix honey with lemon and painkillers for pretty much the same thing.

had a soar throat the other day, drank one for breakfast and it kept itaway nearly all day, shear lazyness stopped me from doing it more often to get rid of it compleatly.

...maybe turmeric works too, I duno, I dont really like it makes me fee like my insides are going yellow (we have stuff from a indian merchant and it's like dried yellow paint!)

lmao!thats the one! the taste only stays with you for a couple of mins tho i promise!
as for honey and lemon i think its a bit hit and miss i found for a sore throat its great but never strong enough for a cough!
