Default Computer fan runs fast with case side on

Got a m8 who computer has been Blue screening thought this maybe Ram faults changed and checked ram, that seemed ok, but when he put the side back on the PC One of the fans start's to get noisey like it really working hard to keep it cool, the only problem it as soon as you take the PC out again and remove the side the noise stops fast so I cant tell if it a CPU fan, Power supply fan or case fan and Advice on this do you think it needs recasing in a bigger case to give it more room for the cold air to get round.

Thanks for any advice, I was going to go with it being the CPU fan what do you think, and would it cause it to blue screen if it gets to warm

Can you check the PSU temperature, sounds like it's overheating. Perhaps 2 fans, one to blow air in and one to extract would help. Is the air outlet for the power supply obstructed, maybe pushed too close to a wall or back of a computer desk?

go into bois and check the system monitor, make a note of it then remove the panel and do the same. see how difference in temprature it makes.

the blue screen duznt show on faulty ram or cpu, wen they r faulty the monitor wont switch on.

try takin the battery out of the mainboard and leave off for about 3mins b4 u put it back on. now just load bios defaults and c wot happens

are you sure its not the side vibrating , you could unplug case fan , and while psu fan is rotating push a paint brush into blades to stop it rotating and then you can work out which on it is , is there a fan on the video card ?

A Windows box will most certainly "blue screen" if the system RAM is faulty.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
