Default Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

Went to see this Friday night not really knowing the story too well. I have to say it was massively enjoyable.

The chrildrens acting was top notch and Tilda Swanson as the witch was brilliant.

The special effects were pretty good and the screenplay was well written and fast paced although was a little slow to begin (picks up well as soon as they are ALL in Narnia)

    id give it 8.5/10

Hmm, saw it Sunday, and didn't enjoy it at all. Cant remember much of the book, but going to read it again. Am fairly certain a reasonable was changed. All happened too quickly, but they still showed emotional attachement with the kids and the animals of Narnia....it seemed so forced!

I knows it small, but this detail bugged me, after the end of the battle, Peter is just kneeling down, and his armour is in tip top mint, not a speck on it condition!! I know it was a PG, ie no blood, but cmon, it has just been leading the way in a battle apparenlty, I dunno its the details that add up I think to make a great movie...Its no LOTR thats for sure!

i saw this last night and had some mixed thoughts about it.

i know it was supposed to be a kids film but the acting from the 4 children imo was poor, it seemed so fake the way they were speaking. This could of been an epic just like LOTR was if it was made in the right away.

Aslan stole the show for me, awesome aggression and awesome entrances and the witch character was very well acted.

also what was with them animation scenes? was it just a way to cut down costs?

will there be a part2? i thought that the professor could have been involved abit more.

but i must re read the book, as i last read it at school many moons ago!

    overall 6.5/10

hmm it was okay but tbfh it doesn't come close the the 1980's version which is shown on british TV, the witch didn't really work for me tbh also she seemed to be almost perving on peter when he first met her o.0

all just seemed abit shit compared to the original :/

Watched it and didnt like it at all. To be honest, I know, it's an old story and it's not a rip off of LOTR but it just seemed like a poor cousin of LOTR. The CGI was poor, the acting was bad and it started off really slow..oh yeah and the jokes didnt make ANYONE laugh in the cinema... 4.5/10

The witch was the best I think

read the book as a school project.....over and over again!
The film destroyed a lot of the images gained through the book..as they always do, but as films go..pretty close to the written word.
