i want to know if it'll work from someone who knows and can actually check, not 'i cant see why not'

Got a UK Premium here. If anyone else can't sort out testing it, LMK.
I think he means has anybody got an NTSC machine with a hard drive in that could be tested in a UK machine
Hi fella's, sorry for the Delay.
Was out last night watching Lee Evans at Wembley.
I sent my USA pack home with my mate for Xmas at the weekend as he can't get one just yet and I dont fancy taking it on the train with all of my other stuff next week when I go back to Smogland for Xmas.
I'll be able to tell you then, but i'm sure we'll find out sooner.
At the end of the day it's a Hard Drive. Will use the same power, and wont be region locked (I'm using a wireless USA pad on my UK machine and a USA Wireless Gaming Adapter and it's fine).
Not sure if the HD's marry themselves to the Xbox's, but a Virgin one I would be pretty confident that it will be OK.
At the end of the day it's only a storage device (with 8gb taken up by something else...) so should work fine. Read the packaging on a USA one to see if it ONLY works with USA Xbox's
We all make mistakes sometimes
The hard drives will not marry themselves with the console because they are removable and the US will work with a UK one, vice versa etc, just like a PC.
You have no worries matey.
