My Proposition is for the next tournament we get at least 20 people we pay £5 each in advance using paypal which will total to £100 and divide the money out to the top 3 players like so

    1st - £70
    2nd - £20
    3rd - £10

Mate - there was ages in advanced and we still only had 11 people turn up.

Its hard getting people to commite - sure the money aspect might get a few more heads in tho.

Im more than game for that tho

If people pay in advance then I reckon we will get a much bigger turnout. We didnt do too bad last night. Its just a shame we cant use blue square for pre arranged tourneys, the interface is much more friendly.

I'll be up for future tournaments.
Maybe if we done poll on what night / nights would be best for everyone, also the best start time, then a game could be arranged for the majority.

A prize tourney would be a great idea, I don't think that using paypal would be to our advantage though, we'd probably do better to let the poker room handle the money side of it. To receive a £5 payment via paypal costs 37p and you have to pay the fees when the prize money is paid back out aswell.

It's not hard to set up a tournament with a buy-in, I think that would be safer, more convenient and better value for money.

I sugested this on another thread and id definstly be up for it if we start a thread and people post if they can definatly be available for a certain date and then pay the money to whoever.

The earlier we get names the better.
