That's a great pic mate, love cars and shiny Blue ones at that. Your lad looks like my oldest when it comes to photo's; trying to look 'cool' yet looks more like a Ricky Gervais pose. Tell him not to move his hand next time ;-)
Don't know the make of car, but I installed a network years ago (Early 90's) in a little car company in sussex, they used to hand build cars like that. Very enthusiastic guys they were, loved their job.

Oh right, not heard of those (and I thought I knew my cars! lol)

They are a sort of kit car though arent they just built by someone else
As far as I remember they came with a choice of 1.6, 2.8 or 2.9 Ford engines and also they run on mostly ford running gear dont they? So I suppose its an original body/style built on a half decent motor really aint it. Nice example though I must say looks very tidy, a friend of mine used to own a Panther Lima it was a pile of poop but then again it was based on a Vauxhall Viva!!! Nah just kidding it wasn't the best example thats all I'll say.
Nice car, must turn heads when you go about in that in the summer

The Lima was, in my opinion, a far inferior car to the Kallista being Vauxhall magnum based and made of fibreglass.
My Kallista, like all of this model, were manufactured from Aluminium and were based on Ford running gear - very similar in engine/running gear to the Capri, being rear wheel drive and mental in the wet.
the biggest difference being my model which although rear wheel drive has an XR2 1600 engine converted to rear wheel. Panther rated the CVH engine much higher than the one capri's had.
