if you want to play against other people online then you have to get GOLD. If you just want updates and access to the arcade then stick with SILVER.

I personally think that it is worth the money, i play PDZ online constantly you can get a Gold membership for about £20 which covers you for the year

i dont think it is a live game in the sense you can play other people, i think may be able to download updates and stuff, i may be wrong though
