just get pspvideo9 it'll encode and copy to the PSP in the correct format and directories.
I'm new to this
cyprus ur getting a bit of a grumpy sod lately - who are you modeling yourself on
Conect your usb lead.Open your New drive F G H or wotever the case may be,in there should be various folders( iso, psp )create a new folder and name it, MP- ROOT Inside that folder create another folder name that one
100MNV01 thats three zeroes Just open your mp4 film folders and drag and drop contents into folder named 100MNV01Dont drag mp4 folders without opening them first or they wont play If tou get stuck get back
Good Luck ....Paul
Thanks Paul.. i tried that but it doesn't work!!?? I may try PSPvideo9 as suggested by Shangrula... Any other ways? This is really annoying!Originally Posted by plasterer
Thanks guys..
First, navigate to your PSP's storage drive (eg. F). Create a directory called "MP_ROOT" if it does not exist - go into this directory and create a sub-directory called "100MNV01" (that's 3 zeroes) if it does not exist. You should now have a directory structure similar to:
F:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01
Now copy your MP4/THM files to the above directory.
1. And that's it folks. Nice and simple.
Well that works 4 me mate
When you drop the files in the said folder go to videos.Has the memory on yourstick gone down.MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE TWO FILES OUT OF THE MP4 FOLDER BEFOR YOU DRAG EM ACROSSOR THE MEMORY WILL GO DOWN BUT DISPLAY NO VIDS

if that doesn't work just use pspvideo9 mate, it does all the work for you, it's free and it's guarenteed results.Originally Posted by Verynaughty
if it doesn't work then try to give us error messages or list exactly what you did, otherwise it's impossible to know what you've done to not get it working.
It's really a simple process, I know you've tried it all already but all i can suggest is try again with fresh video's to convert and see where it goes wrong, chances are you've just named the directories on the PSP incorectly or encoded the video in the wrong format/incorrectly (both of which pspvideo9 does for you)
I'm new to this
OK... Here's what happened... I deleted everything and FORMATTED the card.. I hadn't done this previously.. Then I get all the directories put in automatically. Cool. Put the video file in there via PSPvideo9.. STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! D'oh!!!!!!
Tried another video file... Works perfectly!!!
Must've been a problem with the movie!!! :-/
Someone told me to do this.....
"Rename your film file to "M4V00002" give the THM file the same name as well.
Good luck "
And it worked!!!!! How come you guys couldn't come up with that!??
i'd also recommend using pspware, very easy to convert, never had any problems with it.
VeryNaughty - some of that Video IPod stuff I sent you before Christmas will do the job for you no problems..
Oh and Cyprus.. totally agree with you on point 8.. if VeryNaughty isn't told now he'll never learn!
just so you know, the THM files are unneeded for the movie to play ok
try downloading PSP Movie Creator, its so easy to use rips your favourite dvd's to MP4 format and even transfer's it to your psp.....
