    Photos DF Dogs

Instead of everyone creating a separate thread for their dogs I thought it might be neater to have one for everyone to post their dog pics in.

Here's one I took recently of my Japanese Akita. His muzzle's going a bit grey now but it's not quite as bad as it looks in the photo. Obviously wide angle lenses aren't flattering for dogs either.

    Ok here you go.

    Spoiler:

This was the original image before I decided to add the out of bounds bit.

I selected the bottom part of the border with the rectangular marquee tool and then right clicked and used Layer Via Cut to move it to a new layer.

Then using the move tool I shifted it up a bit to where I wanted it and re-cropped the image.

In the layers palette I created a layer mask for the new layer and then used a soft edged black brush to erase the border and make it look like the dogs muzzle was outside the frame.

Here's another, slightly more comprehensive tutorial.

There's a whole series of them called The Dog, click the pic below.

I've got the Bull Terrier calendar. Perfect dog for a fisheye lens because of their enormous nose.
