Newbie BT VOYAGER 2100 ADSL ROUTER SPEED ISSUES

hello all. i have recently setup my network using a BT VOYAGER 2100 ADSL ROUTER (using wired connections only) and if one machine is downloading at BitTorrent the other gets a shocking connection speed, just wondering if theres a way to give each machine an even cut on the bandwidth at all times, like to isssue an iIP with a set ammount..... any ideas anyone?

i use the same router i dont think you can limit it at the router (i may be wrong) i just set a limit on the torrents i download so they cant use all the bandwith

What upload speed have you got your Torrents running at?

If it is set to maximum, then this will cause poor download speeds.
Set your maximum upload speed on your Torrent client to 15K.

There is, but how much do you want to spend?

My guess is you want to spend as little as possible, so that only leaves you with a software based option (which means at least one PC will have to be on for the others to have net access).
