Online Game code?

hi guys i have jsut discovered an online rpg called ROTOX (http://www.rotox.net) And i dont like it BUT i thought i would like to take a crack at it myself, my question is.... programs like PHPnuke let you have a well coded website in a few clicks but its still your own content so has anyone done a similar thing for online RPG code? is so, where can i get it, if not, why the hell not, and could i code a nuke module to do this do you think?

but seriously there must be a PHPnuke module out there or a bare bones CMS type thing!

i very much doubt it

to hand code something like this would take a lot of planning and a reasonable amount of coding knowledge

It depends what you want. I wrote a few VB apps and some ASP pages for viewing my guilds characters for WoW online a while ago.

Most of the time these kind of things are reliant on the game devs giving some kind of API to "hook" into the game.

As I have never heard of Rotox I have no idea what is available I'm afraid.
