    Prevention is better than the cure man. Before you go to bed, drinks lots of water, and keep a pint with you beside your bed at night. dehydration is the bastard son of hangovers. - It always works for me!

    I have found that ginger beer, ginger tea or a slice of fresh root ginger in my green tea, is excellent for quelling any nausea. GP's actually recommend it for morning sickness.

    taken off another forum this one works.

    The Underberg treatment: Underberg is found in those tiny little bottles wrapped in brown paper that contain a potent German bitter. Forget Fernet-Branca, that's for lightweights, while Jagermeister is for clubbers who like to think they are dangerous. Bitters hark back to a time when alcohol was used as a medicine, and they aid digestion.
    Anyway, Underberg. Unwrap the paper. Open the bottle. Take a deep breath. Open your mouth and pour all of the bottle in. Do NOT under any circumstances take a cautious sip. This is a drink that has to be consumed quickly and in one shot. Why? Because it tastes vile. Then wait a couple of seconds. There's a heat building up in your stomach, now your chest is on fire, there's a roaring in your head and...suddenly your hangover explodes through your ears. You're better. Just like that.
    Actually you're not better, you're simply horribly drunk once again; but boy do you feel better. Now to find something to get rid of that horrible taste

    A cold bath, seriously. Sometimes i've ignored my common sense and got blitzed before a big day at work, so a cold bath to jump in is quite horrific at the time but has always brought me round within a minute or so.

    Proven fact is water,

    Drink as much as you can, I.E a bottle on way home from pub,

    Drink a pint or 2 take 2 Neurofen plus ( only available at chemist that fuckin bob on )

    if u wake in the night for a piss, go for one and down another pint of water.

    Its hard, but thats the only real thing to prevent it.

    prevenion is better than a cure. However;

    Ginger seems to work. Also Bananas because of the potassium content.

    I also have it on good authority that Valium or Prozac are quite good too

    Can't beat a donor at the end of the night after a heavy night on the beer, if not in walking distance find somewhere that delivers.

    I'm on first name terms with our local donor house and they deliver straight to the pub, come 2am i ring up say it's paul at the ranch and they always come out even thou they stop delivering at 1........ properly cause the orders about £30, but their happy, were happy, everyones a winner and it saves me wasting my saturday recovering from a hangover. Just need to change my bed sheets the in the morning as i've spent the whole night sweating donor out of me

    Valium is a very good hangover cure, makes you drowsy though so only really good if you can spend the day in bed. The other problem is it's very moreish.
