Audi TT (02) Mileage Correction

All I know is that using a laptop that is faster than 233Mhz is going to be a problem.

Im suprised that the TachoPro gear actually can do a TT, only thought it was capable of doing Golfs, Passats etc..

Word of warning, don't just use any option and attempt to write back to the cluster willy nilly, you may end up with a large paper weight. Remember, all VW's and Audi's from 1998 have immo data in the dashboard.

guys i know there is alot of you who think writing epromms is easywith a cheap writer but be warned most cars have immobiliser data in chip so to avoid costly excercise get your car done by a someone whos been experianced at it its best belive me

there is other vagdash software u can use besides tachopro that isnt in german& iwould be glad to help.as for the immo runnin through the dash 'iwould take heed as its a big dear mistake to have to pay dearly.top advice twin charge.

Thanks for the info and the immo warning, is understood and taken onboard!
I've downloaded a copy of vagdash and it doesn't appear to show TTs in the list of compatible cars. Any further advise would be a great help.
