What's your preferred music format?

Ok DF'rs i thought i would try to find out the music format of choice for all you good people on the forum....there was a thread recently about how many MP3's everybody had but what I'd like to know is which form of music do you buy(I realise that some of you are unfarmiliar with the concept of 'purchsing' music) I just want to see how many vinyl heads we have on site if any or do you just buy CDs or even downloads only. Lets have your opinions,views or gripes on it the subject.

me....I'm a die hard vinyl junkie with a serious black crack addiction, so I would say that 95% of my music is on good old fashioned vinyl, although my CD collection is also growing (due to the fact that sometimes things are CD only releases)
I have in exess of 5000 LPs,12" - 3000+ 7" singles and over 900 CDs and only about maybe 40 - 50 MP3s.

I am a CD man, purely on the excuse that you can't listen to vinyl in your car.

apart from the whole purchasing thing... mp3s are purely for convenience on my part...

fook changing cds, fook changing lps, i like to be able to search music or albums instantly and find the songs i want and have them playing in seconds.

aside from that i dont actually own a cd player.. instead the amp is connected to the pc, also got mp3 player in the car..

OGG or VBR mp3. They take up less space than all the other formats I own.

yup i can't argue with the space thing...vinyl does demand a lot of it so it is a bit of a problem....but i always manage to find room for the latest purchases
