Got a Skoda Octavia 2005 that I need to remove the cluster from. I have removed the clip-on trim at the bottom of the cluster and the two torx screws but the cluster is still tight in there. Does anyone know how to remove this cluster?

Buy a Diagprog 3 and you can change all these vehicles via diagnostic socket........no need to remove cluster

i think you will find its just tight. try sliding a credit card in around the top to break the seal then rock the cluster, back and forward.
DiagProguk, the cluster has to come out due to no comms via OBD. It's a car fault.
Cheers, decode1. Anyone actually pulled one of these puppies out?
Sorted, there are two catches at the top of the cluster.
