What's this style of Karate like, compared to the others?

I know it's a bit of a vague question, but I know fek all about martial arts really and was just wondering how this style/school/whatever compared to others.

i do tai jutsu a form of ju jitsu never tried karate

Never heard of this one but did Wado-Ryu for a lot of years. Similar to shotokan karate but with a much shorter stance. Plenty of kata and the usual grading system and MAC affiliated. Why not go along and see how it is? I found it was a great way of keeping fit and getting a few valuable defence skills at the same time.
