    Default Animated GIFs in FireFox

Does anyone else have problems with animated GIF images in FireFox? They are there, but just not animated...anyone know why this is?

Visit about:config and make sure that "image.animation_mode" is set to its default-value "normal".

    Are you running Zonealarm?
There are two animated avatars on this page. WTDs and wavestas.
For any site (or image from another site) to work you may need to set ZA, or other firewall you have, to not block animation.
Bring up the ZA Control Center. Go to the Privacy Tab and find the site you're looking for. www.digital-forums.com
Right-click and select 'Options' and then the Ad-Blocking tab. Untick Animation. (See attached image)
Press OK and then send ZA back to the tray.
Come back here and force a page refresh using CTRL-F5 keys

/edit - To do this globally, hit the Main tab in Privacy and then Custom button in the Ad-blocking section. Un-tick Animation and OK, then see how you get on.

Using the first option- -by site approval won't let shambles red face go but the global change will.
