DevHook Evolved Loader Ultimate Edition NO UMD For PSP

Here is DevHook Ultimate Edition NO UMD, with this you can load:

1.50 iSOs
1.50 compressed iSOs
2.00 + iSOs
2.00 + compressed iSOs.

All without the UMD, and also supports IR Shell (music in the background) with compressed and uncompressed iSOs. This version will allow you to play games that require MPHGAMELOADER, DAX ZISO, FASTLOADER, or even 1.50 iSOs without the UMD disc. This also lets you use IR SHELL with stand-alone iSOs and MPHGAMELOADER, or COMPRESSED DAX ZISOs with the MPHLOADER.

SET UP:

1. Put your flash0 and flash1 folders in MPHGAMELOADER/flash0, MPHGAMELOADER/flash1, this will allow you to still use MPH GameLoader seperatly to load UMD discs. (a 2.50 FW dump is preferred) To get a 2.50 dump to work without freezing you have to do the following:

When you have your 2.50 dump in the correct place in the flash0/flash1 folders do the following:

delete:

flash0\kd\resource\me_sdimg.img

and rename:

flash0\kd\resource\meimg.img
to
flash0\kd\resource\me_sdimg.img


2. Copy all the folders from this package to your PSP root.

Usage: For all of these you can go to CPU speed and adjust it to what you want, it won't affect any of these. It is recommended to set it to 333/166.


STANDARD 1.50 UNCOMPRESSED iSOs:

Boot up the app, and just select your iSO- that's it!


2.00 UNCOMPRESSED iSOs:

1. Boot up the app
2. Select your 2.00 iSO
3. Go to boot select and choose MPHLOADER
4. Go to START and play!


2.00 + 1.50 COMPRESSED iSOs:

First make sure you have removed the .dax from your compressed iSO, so it should be "_____.iso" NOT "_____.iso.dax" as the latter is wrong.

1. Boot up the app
2. Select your 2.00 compressed iSO
3. Go to the boot select and go to DAX0.3
4. Click start
5. The DAX screen will appear choose your setting and select the same iSO again, if it is a 2.00 game put it on MPHGAMELOADER mode, for 1.50 it can be on direct load.
6. Your game will start


USING IT WITH IR SHELL (allows you to play music in the background):

If you want to use uncompressed 2.00 iSOs with IR SHELL or 1.50 compressed iSOs:

1. Load up IR SHELL
2. Select the DevHook app
3. Choose your iSO
4. Go to the boot select and choose MPH GAMELOADER your game will start

NOTE: FOR INCRESED COMPATIBILITY LOAD UMD EMULATOR SPERATELY FIRST AND RUN YOUR ISO IN SYSTEM MODE, THEN START THE STEPS 1-4. If you are using a 1.50 compressed iSO, select the DAX0.3 on the boot selection when it comes up, set the mode to direct load and play.


TO USE COMPRESSED iSOs it is a bit more tricky, for now you have to do this:

1. Load up IR SHELL
2. Select UMD EMULATOR (the original unedited one, included)
3. Put it on system mode and select your compressed iSO.
4. You will be sent back to the IR SHELL menu.
5. Now select the DevHook Ultimate Editon app
6. Select your same iso again and then go to boot selection and select DAX IR MODE
(this uses the 0.2 version, as this is the only one that works with this but its same compatibility)
7. It will say returning to system menu in 3 secs, instead it will go back to IR SHELL
8. Select the DevHook Ultimate Edition app again.
9. Choose your same iSO again, but this time on the boot selection choose MPHGAMELOADER
10. Your game will start n u will be able to use IR SHELL in it.

NOTE: IF YOU EXIT USING THE HOME BUTTON AND YOU RETURN TO IR SHELL, OR IF U USE SLEEPMODE THERE AND DONT TURN OFF YOUR PSP... IF U WANT TO PLAY THE SAME COMPRESSED GAME AGAIN ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS START FROM STEP 8.

yep, its pretty good, i postd about it in the daxter thread. ive been using it for a while now.

edit just read it properly and it seems like this is another version, ultimate edition is different! if the last ones anything to go by this will be the same just even better,

got round to trying it out properly, its very similar to the devhook evolved loader. just with the addition to use background music,(an option i will never use)

just tried the above file and still cant get daxter working

sorted it now guys , it need to be deycrpted and also shrunk dwn a little to just over 800meg

no, I think you'll have to wait patiently for a 2.6 solution mate. or maybe less of a patient wait and more of a agonising one

If you want 2.0/1.5 there's a very easy answer. they will only over get rarer if nothing else surfaces.
