Not really, I've felt the pain of taking a shock from some large capacitors, mind you, she got away and I never did it again so it obviously works.

i was thinking shoking the mouse as well,was thinking using 1 of them tennis bat fly squaters but larger and left on for the mouse to walk over (or wait till the mouse walks on and turn it on ya self )
