Windows Media centre

Ok installed this and vlc have it all working, going to try the new transcode later this afternoon.

couple of questions for you guys that have had it running for a while,

1) how the hell do I add a folder to the menu, I dont want to have to use the my documents style folders, is it possible to add say D: and E: drives, or is something like linuxs symlinks available in windows, so I can make it appear as though its all contained in windows my documents type folders

2) if I was to build a dedicated box for this media centre (am actually dead impressed with it and thats coming from someone who is a big XBMC fan), does anyone know if the 360s remote will work with the pc assuming I get a infrared adaptor etc, assume it will be able to

you can add folder by pressing the info button and selecting add videos

dunno Ive installed it as my main os not seen anything I could do in XP and cant in media centre yet sure there is somethings

yes but as Canardo says its a perfectly decent OS on its own.
dosnt seem any different to normal XP, just with MC included.
