    Question ex contract phone

    i recently got a v3 from a mate that was locked to orange.
    i went to the market to get it unlocked but the guy said it used to be a contract phone and couldn't be unlocked.
    is this true or could the guy just not be bothered?

    Hehehe, he probably didnt have the equipment to do it, thats all. Of course it cab be unlocked m8.

    Unless of course it has been barred, then he is correct.

    Put a registerd Orange sim in and see if you have a signal
