UK Terrestrial in Japan???

What UK channels (BBC and ITV mainly) can be found in Japan. A friend is moving out there for about 6 months and doesn't want to be watching Japanese cookery programmes

As he doesn't speak a word of Japanese he's looking at some sort of satellite system but what channels will he be able to get (I'm sure you can't use sky in Japan)?

Well actually I ordered 2.One for me and one to flog on ebay here before they are released in the UK.

Useful to know that satzzz, gotta mate who built a house near surrathani, always badgering us to send out the latest Eastenders on dvd, waste of a perfectly good disc if you ask me lol.

Me and my mate joked today about that if he had a bar over there he could advertise the omnibus edition of Eastenders on a chalkboard outside just like they do in Spain.
Just imagine walking past a bar with semi clad thai girls and hearing the them tune.How surreal would that be??

lol, seen a lot of them chalk boards outside bars on Khophangan advertising the latest vids when I was there...chicken corner would never really seem the same if you heard they EE theme blasting out
