    Default Slither

Decided to watch this after looking it up on IMDB. Here's what they had to say about it.

    Genre: Comedy / Horror / Sci-Fi

Plot Outline: A small town is taken over by an alien plague, turning residents into zombies and all forms of mutant monsters.

    User Rating: 7.1/10 (1,791 votes)
Being a fan of zombie films and seeing that it got 7.1/10 which is pretty high for IMDB this looked like the sort of film I would really enjoy.

I think I was expecting too much of it from what I'd read and it was a bit of a let down for me.

    My two main problems with it were;

    A) Zombie film - No it isn't
    B) Comedy - Sorry, try again (I could see the attempts at humour but they didn't work for me)

For now I'm giving it a 6/10 but I may amend this score given some time to think about it and I might watch it again when a better quality copy comes out.

    6/10

i went to the cinema to see this, i thought it was hilarious.

the bloke from serenity was great.. he gets all the good lines. the bloke who played the mayor was also fuckin funny.

a nice sit down and turn yer brain off type film.. kinda black comedy horror flick.

some of the scenes with that bald bloke who turned into the thing were sick lol

Quite a lot of hype surrounding this film but I dont think it was all that.. very slow to being and not as 'deadpan' as advertised... 6/10

I turned it off after 30 minutes. I know it's supposed to be in the 'B' movie mould but they got it all wrong. Fuckin Wank.

Thought this was terrible! How dare they compare it to Shaun of the Dead!!!

Finally just saw it, bad acting (expected as its a 'comedy'), no laughs whatsoever apart from one or two mild chuckles but thats just because the lines contained swear words (seems they resorted to this as a 'fail safe' with some of their audience).

The plot is terrible, FX are ok but altogether a smashing 3/10.

I suffered watching this a few weeks back.... it could have been so much better from the point where they tried to shoot the alien guy... but it just got worse, the humour was mild and predictable, shame.

It reminded me a little of tremors, a far superior film!

I watched it last week and thought it was a fucking riot. The woman in the shed who was full of the things reminded me of chet out of Wierd Science. Well worth a watch.

Well nice for you to post a meaningful review describing what you liked about it, maybe that would make us think it is more of a genuine post rather than say none of us (who have written meaningful descriptions and valid points) have a good sense of humour...

I tolerated it, had it's moments but it was pretty poor.

I too thought it was a Zombie flick... Not a zombie in sight. Maybe thats why I was disapointed.
