360 scoring disc...help needed urgently

right this is the first time this has happened am scared to try again in case it happens again...i bought top spin 2 today been in the player for a bash and i have just taken it out and it has a perfect circle scored into it,have called micro shite and they say they cant take the console back and cant do anything about the disc and have advised me to take it to the retailer where i bought it...why should the retailer change it as its there machine that has done it,even if they did change it id be scared to try it again in case it scratches it again..and yes the machine has been flat the whole time and never been moved

what do you think i should do help me pls

I had the same prob with one of my games,,i took it down to my local game exchange and he sent it off to be repaired and it only cost me £2-50,,,I got the disc back now and plays perfect. Apparently its a common problem especially if you knock the machine while it is stood up. I have now laid mine down,,,,hope this helps

thanks stew nah console has been lying down its whole life and never got knocked i have been told by some yank at m$ i have to speak to a uk supervisor to resolve problem they better damn fix it/replace game or there will be hell to pay

Yeah keep at them their half baked overheating xbrick is just not acceptable.
