Found this insect in my back garden WTF is it,Looks like a alien crab,Pics Inside.

Was putting my gps ariel on the wall to lock on, And by the side of me i saw this thing.

Poked it and it opened its claw to nip me, It moved in a very slow sideways motion,But a very bumpy motion.

Might just be me,BUT ive never seen one of these before.Any one know what it is?

Nope, Miles away from the docks,but there is a high street around half a mile from me,But nothing major on there in wholesale terms.

Bleady thing better not start shagging and spreadin in my garden.

you do get some in northern europe, mostely the hairy ones. but the bigger ones tend to be down South Africa way, doesn't look like they're harmful in any way, unless you happen to be a butterfly or a bee
