USB bluetooth dongle problems?

i bought a usb bluetooth adaptor to connect my pc to my mobile phone. i have just upgraded to xp pro service pack 2 expecting a bluetooth places icon in my control panel, but it isnt there? the dongle came with bluesoleil software which works but wont let me use nokia pc suite at the same time? ive been told to connect via microsofts wizard to fix the nokia suite problem but i cant find it for the life of me? ive looked for about 10 hours altogether to try and sort it so any advise would be much appreciated, K+++

thanks crack_it for your pm, you put me on to the right tracks to solve my problem. i ended up trying about 10 variations of BlueSoleil and nokia suite versions, BlueSoleil_2.1.2.0 with nokia suite 6.8 was what worked for me. other people used different versions and it worked for them but i had to use these? thx for the help hope this helps someone else as its took me a couple of days to get this running.

My experiance with Nokia software has never been that good to start with nevermind bluetooth. When i finally got bluetooth working it always worked better for me to just right click the file i wanted to transfer and chose send to bluetooth device.

I have two adapters both differant and both using WIDDCOM software and both only seem to work with the WIDDCOM software that came with it ?

Strange but true, hope you get sorted mate...
