Right I know this should probably be on the Jeremy kyle show but this has completely freaked me out. I've known and worked closely with this guy for the last 3 years.
He's just been made redundant and told me the day he left that there would be some major changes in his life but kept quiet about what. We've kept in contact since he left through email.
I knew he's been going through a divorce but didn't think anything of it. He asked me through email why I thought he spent so much time with human resources. I immediatley thought he's been banging one of them and thought maybe that's why he's getting the divorce.
He sent the same email to another work collegue and he'd jokingly replied with ??sex change??
That's when the clanger was dropped. He replied with "was it that obvious" I wasn't copied in on that mail so my collegue called me over to show me what this big mystery was.
WTF
There on full display on the t'internet were pictures of my ex work collegue dressed up as a lady. Did I say WTF?
This is a guy so into modifying subarus and mitsis that he talks in chassis numbers? A guy with a wife and a seven year old kid? A guy that I had NOOOOO idea was living a secret life dressed up as a woman.
He says it's been going on fo a while and is already done the road to become a woman. He's been taking hormone pills since September (I'd noticed him getting man boobs but thought he was just putting on weight). Has changed his name by deed poll to Caroline. Has told his parents and obviously his wife. He's also having laser surgery but I don't know what that's for (facial hair maybe??)
He said next time we meet up it'll be as Caroline and not HIM as he puts it.
I'm not homomphobic as I have a few gay friends but this is a whole new ball game. I've known the guy as a bloke and now I have to get to know him as a woman? I'm confused. He said he wanted to tell us before but said there never was a good time.
Has anyone else had experience in this sort of area? (I'm sure CJ has )
And why do I keep thinking of David Walliams saying "I'm a lady" in a high pitch voice.
