They would only ruin a classic with too much computer generated effects!!!
And no Goose would be a crime!!!
IMac, MacBook Pro, Ipad 2, Iphone 4, Iphone 3GS....Oh and a PC or 2 knocking about
Yea firebalde i was going to say that about recruitment. Yea the pilots could be retired but rocky 6 is going to come out soon and he looks like 70 years old lol, so they could probably do it if they wanted to or do a different story line. But they would need to keep tom cruse (Maverick) and Val Kilmer (Ice).

Tom Cruise could take over the role of the best pilot from Jester and then have an up-and-coming hotshot pilot come through his school. Oh no wait, that'd be shit. Hollywood, please don't attempt a sequel.

they should leave it well alone - it's bad enuff making sequels straight after the original, but after such a long period of time it's best left alone
Any Roadhouse fans - just watch Roadhouse 2 and see why sequels are a shite idea!!!
Val Kimer couldnt get in a jet fighter these days, have you seen the size of him recently.
No, is he fat like santa ?. Did anyone notice my sig is from top gun?

Yeah, that was last year. Hes a lot bigger now, saw a pic of him in some celeb mag in the states that the missus had (honest).
No remake but what about a movie for all the Scientology crap he believes in. NOT .......................................................................................
Talkin about Val Kilmer... I saw him in the News of the World the other week and he does have a right belly on him now. They had a piccie of him on the beach and my God what a gut he has!
In fact, I just found this, check it out:

To be honest most actors/celebs can afford to look like a bunch of fat cunts, they can also afford to get the best personal trainers to get them back into shape, a great example of that is.... ah what's his face.... 'The machinist"
Christian Bale. Are you on about the difference between the Batman and the Machinist roles?

Hasn't Tom just been fired by Paramount Pictures though?
there was some talk of a sequal but the idea was quickly dropped, and rightly so i think would ruin a classic.
