    Default Reading CD/DVD Problem

anyone have a clue how to fix this

i put a cd or dvd in the drive, then when i take it out and put in another the drive still thinks the first disk is in, if i have a multiple cd program to install it wont do it because as soon as i put in cd 2 it wont carry on.

so everytime i change disks i have to reboot and its really really beginning to piss me off.

so guys could someone please save my sanity and giz a clue, any replies really appreciated.

    cheers

Sounds like you have auto-insert notification turned off (note, this is not the same as autoplay or autorun).

I think tweakxp lets you check/change AIN.

*edit* have a ganders at this lot http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=aut...t+notification

Auto Refresh should be handling this for you, but sometimes it does get a bit laggy.

Open up regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ System\ CurrentControl Set\Control\Update
Right click on UpdateMode and choose Modify
Change the value data from 1 to 0

Reboot for the change to take effect.

Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it
