just seen these on ebay on wondering if anybody had any info on them

i think i know what they are used for but i was wondering do i just plug these in to my feed and go or do i need a account to start with and do they need 2 be set up.

Dont bother dude. NThell will need to have the MAC address on their system, and as the system only allows MAC`s they issue with the supplied hardware, it wont work.

As Welsh pete says you will need a valid mac. But thats all you will need and they are not difficult to obtain.

Its already flashed with fiberware so changing the mac is as simple as plugging it in and going to the built in webpage and typing it in.

the modem in the auction is an "E" model so that will be perfect for ex C/W but if your in Pure *** or Telewest then get an "I" model

That modem is about as plug and play as you can get mate
