ebay shop- worth the hastle??

As some of you know we own a hair salon which means I can get hair products at wholesale price,I've been thinking of opening an ebay shop and selling hair products extensions etc.
But before I do this I was wondering if any of you have experience with an ebay shop and what the pros and cons are??
Also theres another guy on ebay selling ghd hair straightners(which I was gonna do) but he is actually selling them cheaper than we can get them for at wholesale price- anybody got any ideas where he might be getting them from??

If he is selling them cheaper than you are buying them, why not buy them from him...if you buy enough he may drop his prices for bulk orders?

Wonkey fox has a point! Seems like a good idea! Unless they're fake GHDs he's selling! I know that there were people selling GHD "Style" straghtners, but they neglected to add the "style" bit from the auction! hehe!
There are a number of wholesale sites on the net I found on df, maybe worth taking a look. Its basically them sites they sell on ebay for 99p or whatever! hehe!

I bought a tenners worth of kit to test it out and ended up selling one item for a tenner and making a little profit. Unfortunatley the other items haven't sold yet but at least i've made my money back! hehe!

Aha I think ive found out what hes doing

rather than getting them from the wholesalers (like us) hes going directly to the manufacturer. I've just managed to get myself a handy contact so I might be able to set an ebay shop up with some of the cheapest prices on ebay!!
