    Default Mail Server

Hi there need to set up a mail server at work

basic stuff really pick up emails from a standard pop3 box and then distribute to the various people with accounts they need to login into etc

mailling lists would be nice ie everybody would be set to mail to person1, person2, person3

Had a quick look at exim is the thing to use

    Cheers in advance

Might be worth looking at MDaemon too, GUI, picks up mail from a single POP3 and can sort these out to different accounts, supports your lists too I think from memory, been about five years since I used it but it worked great even back then!

It's here, http://www.altn.com/ you can get a 30 day trial to see if you like it as well....

I set up Merak Mail Server at my last place. I don't have stacks of experience with mail servers but found this to do the job very well and was fairly easy to set up and maintain www.merakmailserver.com.
