    Default Personalityless staff in hospitals

Went to A&E at Blackpool last night after slicing the fuck out of my hand. Being the nice chap that I am I tried tomake conversation with eachmember of staff I had to speak to and every fucking one of them uttered about 3 words and fucked off or did what they had to do as quickly as possible and fucked off with no use of personal skills at all.

So what you say, did they do a good job? I have no fucking idea till I get the dressings off.

I could see tendon and bone in the cut yet they only used three wide steristrips on it to pull it back together when I think it warranted stitches then said the strips should come off after a week and to keep them dry but only offered this info when pushed. Now how the fuck do I get them off?

Don't start with the 'they are underpaid' etc. If you are underpaid get a different job, people do it all the time and I am bastard sick of people moaning in the NHS that they are underpaid. All the folk who dealt with me were young enough to know the pay was shit before they joined so they have no excuse.

Not being rude mate - but had you been drinking. Not making any judgement myself, but I've noticed I can be ignored even after making the wittiest remarks when joe public detects the presence of alcohol.

Sorry to hear you sliced yourself up big man. Were you trying to peel an aubergine?

Have to say the nurses in Southport Hospital were pretty nice to me, I did use a bit of the Greek charm though. They seemed to respond well to it. Guess you were just unlucky bud. Wonder how they would of treated you if you'd shown up post peel
