24/7 Web Streaming

I'm looking to open a site based around a 24/7 webstream, which has to be able to allow both live shows from DJ's homes and a jukebox in the gaps inbetween, where the music uploaded to the stream directory would be played at random.

Does anyone know of the best deals, sites to look on? I'm looking at 100 listeners or so maximum for the start, at 96kbps quality, with at least 5gb webspace to upp to.

I'm new to 24/7 streams, I've only used on the spot style ones upto now where you turn it online when you do a show.

Wrong kind of streaming mate, i'm after audio not visual

2003 server/media server could do that mate, if you could host it yourself. You can set it up to broadcast live streams from somebody else & also bang out a playlist if no live stream exists.

A year or so ago, I had to look into audio streaming for a local RSL/community radio station & found this website to be most helpfull:

(check out the 'hosts' section).

I have to say - that alot of the smaller companies seem to come and go pretty quickly - so could'nt really recommend any specifically.
