Hello guys...not posted here before but I do alot of general art work in my spare time, canvas, video, photo and graphical stuff..in the process of getting alot of it up on the net to show people. Just thought id post this one of my girlfriend which I just finished in photoshop.

As im a poor student I dont have a DLSR and dont really have the need..but I use a Fujifilm S5500..going to get a S9500 soon hopefully This was done in photoshop using hue/sat layers. Let us know what ya think. (Looks best printed on matt paper..varies on monitors etc clearly)

I'm not too keen on all the blown highlights but the selective colouring is nicely done.

Have you thought about going for a Nikon D50 instead of the S9500 ?

You can pick one up, with a lens, for around £400 which isn't too much more than the Fuji.

I have been considering the D50 but im not sure what to do yet..I want something with a fairly decent zoom..the 9500 has 28-300mm eqiv. and I can get a D50 with 18-55mm eqiv for around the same price..but cant afford the bigger zoom lenses. So just weighin up the pros and cons etc at the mo..hope to get a new one for the summer
