Paul Le Guen has touched down in Scotland and will oversee
his first day of Rangers training on Tuesday. The French manager
arrives with an impressive record, having lead Lyon to three consecutive titles, before taking a year-long sabbatical from football.
He has been busy behind the scenes since taking over from Alex McLeish at the end of last season.
But new signings Libor Sionko and Karl Svensson will be absent from training as they are at the World Cup.
Le Guen has also recruited former Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Lionel Letizi and youngsters William Stanger, Antoine Ponroy and Dean Furman - and the new quartet will be introduced to their new team-mates at Murray Park.
However, established Rangers stars Dado Prso, Marvin Andrews and Hamed Namouchi are also representing their countries in Germany and are sure to be given extra time off to recover.
