Swapping a HD drive in a Sony Vaio question
Ok i currently have a Sony Vaio TX1XP with an 80 gig 4200 rpm hd I think its a standard ide 2.5 inch
I want to replace with one of these.
100 Gb HGST (IBM/Hitachi) 0A25015 Travelstar 7K100, 2.5" ATA-6, 7200 rpm, 8MB Cache 10 ms
Think it will be possible?

It will go straight in mate, however you are going to notice quite a severe drop in battery life.
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Im not too fussed about the battery life just fancy some more speed.

yes i have put 1 in mine and works a treat but battery drops by a third
