ds wont turn on any ideas

left ds in other room with child came back in and it wont turn on at all when i try and charge it charge light comes on for like 1 second then goes off any ideas could it be battery or something worse

try reseating the battery, my gba did that when i had took the battery out and forgot i did it

battery hasbt been moved though m8 will look for a tiny screwdriver

also tried a new battery in it no joy any ideas anyone little boy has only had it for 1 day

cant take it back bought it months ago of another forum and just kept if for him as i knew he wanted one looking through pages on net sounds like it might have blown a fuse anyone ever replaced one on ds

if it is a fuse, its gonna be a tiny surface mount one, finding a replacement would be very hard. id give nintendo a ring, they seem to be very helpful.

Hi,

I've fixed up quite of few of these, it sounds like a blown fuse on the board - they are marked on the board 'F1' and 'F2' (one on each side of the motherboard - so you gotta strip the DS right down.

If you don;t fancy it dorp me an email and i'll take a look for you:
