Default Home gyms - any use?

Finally decided I need to sort something oot and thinking about buying a home gym... Ive seen the QVC styleee "Total Training", "Total Training XLi" and also a Body Sculpture Total Training system - all around £120 mark - are these worth it, and will they do the job (weight loss).

TBH m8,these type of machine are cheap shite..If you are serious then maybe spend a bit more cash towards getting something decent..But the downside of that is you might end up not using it..Best bet if you are just new to all this would be to join a gym and get the feel for it as like I said you could end up paying for something you dont need..Check the free ads out as there tons of gym equipment for sale...Roach Rampino has a good set upHERE ...Have a look at what he has setup and might not be what you want but gives you an idea....Join a gym first and then maybe think about getting some decent equipment...But at the end of your post you said weight loss,so a decent stationery bike, maybe a rowing machine would be suffice..good luck and anything else, just ask

    what the fuck is that?

nono don't give in to crappy equipment, you wont use it after a couple of weeks and thats 40 quid down the drain. i have a gym membership and feel its much better than buying useless equipment. at home i find i get distracted, if i go to the gym then i set aside my time in the gym without any distractions, plus the equipment is much better.

can't you go for a run outside?
