@ Carlos130 I'm glad I'm not the only one with Olympus gear here...

    For a long time

    Olympus C-40 4MP Compact Digicam
    Olympus PT-012 Underwater Housing
Plenty of AA GP Batteries (either 1800mAh or 2100 mAh)
1GB worth of Smart Media Cards for above camera.

    Just purchased:

    Olympus E-500
    Zuiko Digital 14-45mm
    Zuiko Digital 40-150mm
    Zuiko Digital 30mm
1GB Sandisk Extreme III CF Card
    2x Olympus 1GB xD Card H

    Needed:
Brain and willingness to learn how to handle all this new gear
    Greetings :)

I have a Casio Exilim EX Z750 which lives in my pocket, frankly I love it.

Also a Panasonic Lumix, its at work but I think its a FX20.

    A couple of mini tripods,

and I got this full size tripod delivered today
    http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/prod...ducts_id=99654
Which for the money is absolutely fantastic.

I have a remote shutter button for the Lumix, I got that and the tripod mainly for product shots for work but planning to get out and try to take some nice shots. I may even post in the monthly comp then you can rip me to bits!

That's the one, I havent done much with it TBH, bought it second hand recently.
The bit I have done with it though is very impressive, I particularly like how it sorts out bad lighting and always returns a bright clear pic.

Well i've not posted in my gear before but now I think I've got almost all I need ( ) here's my gear.

Canon EOS 350D with Canon BG-3 battery grip + 3 batteries
    Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro
    EF 50mm f1.8 MKII
Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG Macro
Hoya 72mm pro1 UV, CP and nd8 fillters
    Hoya 52mm UV filters
Tripod - can't remember the name.

so all I need now is a 430ex flash unit, a decent long zoom lens something from 70-300mm and a decent Crumpler camera bag.

then I can look at changing it all and getting a 40D

Nice choice 909. Just out of interest, why the Sony and not Nikon or Canon?

Thinnking I was a clever arse I thought, "I know, I will start a thread in the new forum all about your gear......." Duuurrrrr...............

Anyhow after realising this was here I thought I should contribute.....

At the moment, I have a Canon 400D, an EOS 500slr (film) and a Canon Ixus400 compact. (Just sold an EOS10)

    Lenses are Canon 18-55, Canon 28-80, Canon 35-105 and a Canon 75-300USM.

Couple of memory cards (32mb, 256 and 2Gig)

    Canon RC5 Remote Control

2x Nb-2L Batteries (Canon), couple of rolls of B&W film, spare lens covers, memory card holders, two UV filters, all the manuals for the cams' and leads to hook up to my laptop (when out and about), blank cd's, spare mobile phone.

Fameart Video Tri-Pod (more stable than an slr one) and a Manfrotto Monopod.

Oh and the bag is a black i-link shoulder bag, nice big padded leather shoulder strap, a waist strap and tri-pod strap slung underneath. It is nice and roomy fits all my gear in no problems with room for say two more lenses and a flash or another SLR.

Also have Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended and Adobe Lightroom for messing about with.

On the wish list is a flash kit (two heads and umbrellas and background) for portraits and things like that. I expect to buy something like that after new year, fingers crossed. (also after a normal flash unit if anyone wants to sell us one.....)

I chose the sony for a number of reasons:

It uses minolta mount lenses, which are cheap and plentiful

Due to it not being a Nikon or Canon, it tends to get overlooked on ebay, therefore you can pick up a bargain easier.

Its priced (rrp) in the range of the D40x and 400D, but is often compared to models much higher in the respective range.

Dust removal technology comes highly praised.

Its not a Nikon or a Canon, like everyone else has

The lens I have came with the camera (second hand) and makes the stock one redundant really, i didn't know this at the time so with a little more knowledge i may have bought a body and lens separate, but ive got it now so who cares!
