Which for the money is absolutely fantastic.
I have a remote shutter button for the Lumix, I got that and the tripod mainly for product shots for work but planning to get out and try to take some nice shots. I may even post in the monthly comp then you can rip me to bits!

Well i've not posted in my gear before but now I think I've got almost all I need ( ) here's my gear.
Canon EOS 350D with Canon BG-3 battery grip + 3 batteries
Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC Macro
EF 50mm f1.8 MKII
Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX DG Macro
Hoya 72mm pro1 UV, CP and nd8 fillters
Hoya 52mm UV filters
Tripod - can't remember the name.
so all I need now is a 430ex flash unit, a decent long zoom lens something from 70-300mm and a decent Crumpler camera bag.
then I can look at changing it all and getting a 40D
MML
ive recently invested in the following
canon eos 5d with battery grip
24-105 f4L IS USM lens
24-70 f2.8L USM
70-200 f2.8L IS USM
100-400 f4.5/5.6L IS USM
100 f2.8 USM MACRO
canon 580EXII flash
lowepro photo trekker awII
1 x 8 gig card
1 x 1 gig card
4 x batteries
1 x hoya 77mm polarizing filter
4 x hoya skylight filters.
manfrotto 055x pro b tripod with quick release head
just need to learn how it all works again now
time to update my info now I've finally got a big boys camera:
Sony Alpha 100 DSLR
Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro lens (with Sigma DG 82mm UV Filter)
Sony SAL1118 11-18mm Ultrawide lens (with UV filter)
Minolta Prime 50mm f/1.7
Minolta 70-210mm f/4 'beercan' lens (with UV filter)
Lowepro Slingshot 200 bag
Velbon CX 530 Tripod. (£15, s/h off ebay)
*edit* sold the stock lens and the film camera I bought was broken on arrival. New addition of the Sony 11-18mm
Thinnking I was a clever arse I thought, "I know, I will start a thread in the new forum all about your gear......." Duuurrrrr...............
Anyhow after realising this was here I thought I should contribute.....
At the moment, I have a Canon 400D, an EOS 500slr (film) and a Canon Ixus400 compact. (Just sold an EOS10)
Lenses are Canon 18-55, Canon 28-80, Canon 35-105 and a Canon 75-300USM.
Couple of memory cards (32mb, 256 and 2Gig)
Canon RC5 Remote Control
2x Nb-2L Batteries (Canon), couple of rolls of B&W film, spare lens covers, memory card holders, two UV filters, all the manuals for the cams' and leads to hook up to my laptop (when out and about), blank cd's, spare mobile phone.
Fameart Video Tri-Pod (more stable than an slr one) and a Manfrotto Monopod.
Oh and the bag is a black i-link shoulder bag, nice big padded leather shoulder strap, a waist strap and tri-pod strap slung underneath. It is nice and roomy fits all my gear in no problems with room for say two more lenses and a flash or another SLR.
Also have Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended and Adobe Lightroom for messing about with.
On the wish list is a flash kit (two heads and umbrellas and background) for portraits and things like that. I expect to buy something like that after new year, fingers crossed. (also after a normal flash unit if anyone wants to sell us one.....)
I have a Nikon D40 without the battery grip as of yet
18-55 stock dx lens ,nikon 55-200 af-s/vr/ed/if/dx ,few hoya uv filters ,jessops +2 uv filter
Manfrotto tripod with trigger release
8Gb ultra Sd card ,managed to get it for £30 due to a slight mistake being made at the time
Full photoshop cs2 package icl lightroom (never actually used it until now)
No flash to speak of ,but will be getting a small setup(will be asking later )
And a crumpler bag (came with the camera)
I've got the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7 & a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P5 with underwater housing
I chose the sony for a number of reasons:
It uses minolta mount lenses, which are cheap and plentiful
Due to it not being a Nikon or Canon, it tends to get overlooked on ebay, therefore you can pick up a bargain easier.
Its priced (rrp) in the range of the D40x and 400D, but is often compared to models much higher in the respective range.
Dust removal technology comes highly praised.
Its not a Nikon or a Canon, like everyone else has
The lens I have came with the camera (second hand) and makes the stock one redundant really, i didn't know this at the time so with a little more knowledge i may have bought a body and lens separate, but ive got it now so who cares!
