What would happen if......

You were the leading brain surgeon in the world and your daughter had a very serious brain condition that needed an operation that only you could perform.

I know there is something in medical rules that doesn't allow doctors/surgeons to operate on close family members.
you wouldn't want anyone else performing this operation as you are the best man/women for the job.

Anyone know?

I did have, they were taken into care. Which was a fukin relief I can tell you. I was exhausted.

My gf had a cerebrial haemorrage (aneurysm)at the age of 30, coming up on two years ago ,only one guy out of approx 20 neurosurgeons in europe could perform the operation ,due to the scale .

It was a guy called Ali Nadir Sepahi ,and i can tell you this much ,if i could have done it myself i would have ,to explain the scale it was the size of a grapefruit on the main bloodvessel right at the base of the brain .

Having had a first hand experience i would have done anything to help her through it ,and the same applies to all my family .

Serious problems of the brain change in the blink of an eye ,one minute your fine ,the next your on life support fighting for life ,and not knowing if the life afterwards is going to be worth living .
