    Help Thicko needs help!

The Thicko in question is myself!

Its common knowledge to most on DF that im as thick as 2 short planks so please dont be to damning when you answer!!

I have some sort of problem with my browser. Some sites wont let me veiw the content, with an error message of ''you may need to adjust your browser settings''
any ideas what the proper settings should be? and how do i go about editing them??

And now all of a sudden im unable to see anything that requires macromedia flash player (like You Tube)
I havent altered any settings and Its been fine until yesterday, where all of a sudden im being told i need to update to the version of it. Yet when my girlfriend logs onto her side of the computer she can view it perfectly. She can also view the sites that i cant.

    please help!!

i had a bunch of viri/trojan/adware things on my pc that seemed to bugger up my flash, even after i removed them viewing flash in my browser (FFox) would sooner or later result in it crashing. i had to install opera to stop this, and i still get the occasional crash although it seems to be limited to the flash on maxconsole for some reason

The aim of a lot of malware and/or spyware is to get installed without you knowing. So, if it did its job then you might not be aware that it is installed.

    Try ewido too - http://www.ewido.net/
